“Come on an adventure and see how good you have it but see what discovery not knowing who you are brings”.

“Don’t get caught whatever you do.” The dark figure said in a firm voice. I wasn’t as reckless as he believed I was.” I wont.” He was very crafty and he had taught me well. “Remember your goal Alice.” “For once try to have faith in me, zeke” I walked leisurely to the old Victorian window. The city looked as peaceful as it had during the day. Here goes nothing I thought and I leaped out the window and into the darkness I use to call home. I landed on the drenched ground and hastily took off to the building around the corner. I pressed my back to the wall and tried desperately to catch my breath. The bitter cold ate away at me and my weak nerves, I wasn’t ready for this. I looked around the corner there it was, a tall building with dazzling light and protection at every spot.” He’s not going easy on me” I examined the building, looking for any weaknesses, and just my luck I found one. I took off watching my back every step I took and headed to the roof. I climbed the building swiftly and jumped thought the buildings highest window. I never thought in my wildest dreams I would be robbing a very wealthy party. It only seemed like yesterday I was only nine and I was sitting on the street corner wondering what kind of life I wanted. I never thought that when zeke appeared to me that day that his offer was for me to do this. I cleared my head now is not the time to day dream or ponder the past. Anyone who was anyone in this town would be here, in other words all the wealth in the town was or could be here at this very moment. I looked around the room, very enormous room possibly a bedroom; full of sheets of the best materials and lots of priceless things. This could be it but I knew zeke and what he described as huge rooms beautiful and full of unbelievable things. I walked toward the bed and sat on it. “If only my bed was like this.” I heard foot steps coming fast and I was totally off guard at the moment. I rolled off the bed and almost as like a cat I caught my balance and without a sound slipped under the bed. The door swung open with good force and the foot steps came in “this room looks clear” said a deep voice. The person came to the bed and I had never been more nervous then now. I saw some light coming in from under the bed I knew and this was it; I closed my eyes and prepared for whatever.
