All in one day Detective Tamara Davis’s life will change, after being betrayed by the entire department she’ll gain powers that she never fathomed and be forced to change her entire outlook on life. In part one of this story Tamara discovers her destiny.

This brings me to the fourth thing that you must accept. We are the chosen ones; we are the key to peace and the way to light. We possess knowledge that will save the people of this world from total destruction. Each of us possesses a different ability and must complete a different task. You have a big part of the mission that you must complete.
That is why they tried to possess you and when they couldn’t tried to kill you. You are the queen that carries the torch.
And you are the one who possesses the ankh. The ankh is the combination of all 4 major missions in life for the chosen; the spreading of the law of life which is love, healing, creation and when we are through you will be able to teach all that you learn.
I know your probably wondering why you, why have you been given this incredible responsibility, and it’s because of who you are. Trust your power; it would not have been given you if you were unable to handle it.

Tamara put the note down and sat back on the bed. This was crazy, but in her heart and in the back of her mind she knew this was all true. She knew that the world now depended on her and all that she knew.
And now she must learn. She must learn to be the ankh and fulfill her destiny. It wouldn’t be easy, but this was the reason she was created.
She was chosen.
