A young prince and his dragon. I will try to have a new chapter at least every two weeks, please continue to read.
Suddenly a fire elemental arrow whizzed out of nowhere and nearly hit Aurissa.
“Who goes there? Show yourself!” commanded an elemental archer from within Smogal Castle.
Aurissa and Cauraura explained their situation, and within an hour, there was around 4,000 Smogal soldiers going towards Delwing Castle. The soldiers got to Delwing Castle just in time to cut off the Dark Fangs. With Aurissa and Cauraura at the front line, the whole army charged.
“Hraauuuggghh!!!” The combined forces of Smogal and Delwing cried as they charged toward the Dark Fangs. A sorcerer was on top of a dragon in the Dark Fangs front line. It was their leader, Razalar. “Cauraura! Watch out for the sorcerer! His spells have taken out whole villages at a time!” Aurissa instructed.
“Hmf” Cauraura grunted uneasily. He drew his bow and knocked an arrow, then fired a water-based arrow straight at Razalar. It was dead-on target. Razalar wasn’t moving and he apparently wasn’t going to. “What is wrong with him? Can’t he see I’m going to nail him in his chest?” Cauraura inquired. The arrow soared straight through Razalar. “Why did it go through?!” Cauraura shouted angrily.
“Ha. Imbecile. You don’t even know about Ghastly Robes?” Razalar taunted. He swiftly moved his hand and three lightning spells zapped Aurissa, Cauraura, and a soldier from the Dark Fangs. The Ghastly Robes were gray and gloomy, but apparently powerful.
“Ngh… What the… he killed his own soldier???” Aurissa questioned.
“That’s right… My Ghastly Robes absorb all of the energy of anybody I kill.”
“You may be powerful, but we have Alphonse!” Alphonse was only a quarter of the size of Razalar’s dragon.
“Hahahaha! You expect to beat my dragon, Rylan, with that puny thing?”
“Rrrr…” Alphonse glared
“Get him.” Aurissa said with a smirk. Alphonse stood up on his hind legs and rapidly slashed the air with his talon-like claws. Bursts of light continuously whacked Rylan as Alphonse continued slashing the air. As the blows hammered Rylan, The rest of the Smogal-Delwing forces attacked the Dark Fang army. While attempting to stay on Rylan, Razalar was making strange motions, and suddenly a butterfly emerged from his staff.
“Dang it! Wrong spell…” Razalar muttered.
“Hahahaha!!! That guy is as dumb as a bag of hammers! What a twit!” Cauraura laughed. Razalar held out his staff and entangled Cauraura in vines with a spell. Razalar then zapped him with a lightning powered spell. Cauraura was left twitching. Powered by his newly developed hatred of Razalar, Aurissa stabbed Rylan in his foot. Rylan fell on his back in pain. Razalar fell off Rylan, who was 50 feet tall.
“Heh. We’ll meet again Aurissa, I’m sure of it.” Razalar said. He then raised his arms and teleported as Aurissa lunged at Razalar, but to no avail. He had managed to teleport his entire army, Rylan, and himself, which takes extremely advanced Dark Magic.
“Cauraura? You have got to look at this. Cauraura?” Aurissa spun around. Cauraura was gone.
