We set sail an hour later and made it to Dublin an hour after that. The crew was one of the greatest crews I had ever seen but even with the best crew I knew I couldn’t take them ashore. I made my choice on who would come with me when I went. I chose to take only Skymie, Laela, Scurvy (who seemed to take a liking to Laela) and a tracker called Grim. I left Sam and James, who both seemed to be loyal to me, in charge of the crew and make sure that they didn’t take off without us.
We moved through the streets and headed for the nearest pub. The main reason I didn’t want the crew off the ship was because this was a town that wasn’t use to the pirate types that they were. I knew that they wouldn’t cause any major trouble but I didn’t want to chance it and I wanted to leave once we got our man.
We found out that he was a regular at the Pub and that he even had a stool he preferred to the others. To my surprise Scurvy got his sent first and told me so. He seemed to like the fact that both Laela and I could understand him and was trying to show us how by doing what we said.
“This way Captain.” He called as he led us down a street. “I can smell him all through here.”
“Damn dogs gonna show me up.” Grim grunted. “I couldna even pick up his sent up back there.”
“He’s a dog Grim.” I smiled. “Donna think yor the only one he’s shown up. I couldn’t get the sent back there either and I’ve tracked more then a few people myself.”
