This story picks up where the Lord of Edo left off. Mike and Laela begin to tain as Ninja and Mike and Mike recieves one of the finest swords ever made.

Hikido was far more honest with us than any other trainer we had had since we began our journey. He believed that we were meant for more than anyone he had trained and would do what we asked and train us both. And our training began.

The training of a Ninja was far rougher than that of the Samurai but also far faster and more effective. First we were tested to our limits in fighting and then test for our acrobatic abilities. When that was finished they introduced new fighting stiles and taught us better acrobatics. This would go on for months and other new things would be introduced. This was the way of the Ninja, always learning and selling their swords to whoever paid the best.

Our training in the ways of the Ninja would be kept secret in order to keep the Daimyo from shunning us farther. I knew we couldn’t keep it secret forever and that when the time came we would either have to fight or run.

The Samurai view of Ninja being without honor was incorrect; it wasn’t that they didn’t have honor but that their honor was different. The gained honor from finishing a job not from protecting a powerless emperor or dying in battle. They were assassins and thieves and loved it for the most part.

As the weeks past I found that though I loved the philosophy of the Samurai I loved the way of the Ninja. I served myself more than I served anyone save Laela and that was the way of the Ninja. Through them I realized that though I trained to fight the Rakshasa I did this for myself and not to save the world. I wanted to be the hero that I was becoming not that the hero wanted me.

Near the end of the second month of my training Akemi came to me and told me to come to Masamune. I did as I was asked and on the day that I was suppose to come. I knew why I was asked to come but I was in for something unexpected.

“Welcome Torao.” Masamune smiled. “Akemi tells me you are training with a new group. Should I keep what you are doing secret?”

“For now yes.” I smiled. “All will come out when it is time for me to leave. Why have you called me.”

    Hi, Will

I have trained in combat for most of my life for the good of my country, I loved it. The training, the weapons of destruction the I would live or die by. But these dudes come down to one thing a common criminal. Your writing awesome, I think what you find attractive about it is the fact of the skills honed over hours of practice. I have done things no one would believe if I told them and sometime when I do they are in disbleaf and many times they are wrong for others that wrere there could tell you for a fact I did it. These skills take as much dedication as sitting there pounding out all these thoughts that we all love of yours. Stay true bro and thanks for the read.
