The concluding part of my childrens story Benjamin Twist’s African adventure. Ben and Tom meet the Ungassy tribe!

Ben rolled up the cloth map and slapped Tom the farmer on the back saying,

“Come on Tom we can make it today, we can get the magic sugar and our lives will change”

Tom smiled and they set off together further into the dense jungle.  After two hours cycling the jungle became too thick for the pair to ride so they pushed their bikes.  Suddenly a fierce warrior jumped out from behind a tree and blocked their path waving a long wooden spear!

“Stop right there this is Ungassy land go back or I will have you for supper tonight!”

Tom began shaking and turned whiter than a sheet of paper!  Ben moved very slowly and pulled out a white bag from his wicker basket.  Ben offered the open sweet bag to the warrior saying,

Ben and Tom laid down their bikes and sat cross legged next to the tribesmen.  The warrior disappeared into the largest hut and brought the chief of the Ungassy tribe to the tree.  He wore a big head dress made of birds feathers and crocodile teeth!  He spoke to Ben,
