“So,” he said at last. “What do you want with me?”

Zaphod stepped forward, his gun now aimed at the ground in one hand. “I need your alliance.”

The Frackernation leader was stunned. “This isn’t a trick to end the Frackernation, is it?”

“No, no, there’s a reason why I left the Glackfernation. But I recently learned, along with my new military power, it is my destiny to eliminate the Glackfernation, but I cannot do it alone.” Zaphod held out his hand.

The man grasped Zaphod’s hand. “I would be honored to accept you and your men in the Frackernation as Head Frack. With you on our side, it’s no doubt the Glackfernation will fall to their knees.”

“Oh yeah, that reminds me,” said Zaphod. “We should call off our men. My men are probably halfway through yours by now.”

Sure enough, they look out the window and there’s a massive fire, spreading out along the tall grass. Three men in jetpacks were flying, and within the time they started watching, one rocket was launched at the army. There was an obvious amount of gunfire on the ground, even after the explosion of the rocket. 

“What form of communication does the Frackernation use?” asked Zaphod.

“Radio transmission.”

“What channel?”

“183.5 MHz.”

Zaphod spoke into his radio to his men. “Attention, attention, this is Cpt. Zaphod B. speaking. Switch to frequency 183.5, I repeat, switch to 183.5. Over.” Zaphod did the same and immediately heard stuff like “Watch overhead, watch overhead!” “Fire from surrounding areas!” “Fire in the hole!” As soon as that last one was said, an explosion was heard from the hideout.

“Attention, this is your commander speaking,” said the Frackernation leader into his radio. “We have a new head Frack, the most powerful addition to the Frackernation. Stop all attacks immediately and return to base. Over.”

As the Frackers retreat, Zaphod’s men continue fighting. Zaphod says into his radio, “Mat4ney, this is Cpt. Zaphod B. Order the men to hold fire, and immediately head toward the Hideout. Over.” 

All attacks stop, and the three airborne men touch down. The mass of men head toward the Hideout, and Zaphod’s men jet to the front in a designated meeting area, where Zaphod and the Frackernation Leader meet them.

As the men are touching down in unison, the Leader steps up to make an announcement. “Frackers, we have a new Frack, and it is surely our most powerful addition yet, as you may have experienced. The men you were fighting is our new Frack, minus their leader.” He leans over to Zaphod and says quietly “You sure this isn’t a scam?”
