The next addition in the Boredom Hits Americans series.
Zaphod had arranged his men in an arrowhead formation before the Frackernation. He extended his wings, and his men subsequently followed. They lifted off in the same manner, turning toward their destination and shutting off their jetpacks when they had enough speed to glide to where they needed to go.
They glided over the first landmark, the City Limits. Zaphod radioed to the Frackernation Leader, “Send the troops to Landmark 1. Over.” They kept going.
They started coming fairly close to the tops of the building when they came to Landmark 2, their destination. They touched down on the roof of a building, and they could see the Keisnicken just a few blocks down. Zaphod knew that if they managed to destroy that, the Glackfernation would soon run out of supplies and be unable to fight back. And only he could take advantage of the Keisnicken’s weakness. Only the Glackfernation knows about it, because nobody else manages to get past the massive number of Glacks surrounding the rest of the place.
Everything was down to whispers now.
“Men, we need to get closer to the Keisnicken without them spotting us.” They used their jetpacks for half a second to glide another couple blocks toward the Keisnicken.
Soon enough, the Frackernation Leader called through the radio stating they had reached Landmark 1. Zaphod ordered them to proceed directly to the Keisnicken, where they would begin war head on. Zaphod assured that his Frack would work undercover as to avoid dramatic Frack losses before the hard part.
As the Frackernation marched past the building where Zaphod’s Frack was, Zaphod told his men to get into offensive positions. Everyone’s wings already extended, JJ, iFondle, and Tom went left and glided over the Frackernation, turning in line with the road. Mat4ney, Tim, and Private went right, gliding over some trees, weaving in and out of them to go the right direction. Zaphod and Kenny went forward a couple buildings.
It was obvious when the war began, and that was the signal. As soon as the war began, the 6 men as well as Kenny immediately lifted off, firing from above, showing that the Keisnicken was surrounded. This didn’t phase the Glacks. Their numbers were depleting, but not as much as the Frackernation’s. Zaphod went to the building across the street from the Keisnicken, and because of the war, he went unnoticed. He cloaked and glided across the street to the roof of the Keisnicken, where he would begin.
