Aimee returns to her home world.
Aimee shrugged, I felt what you were feeling, and that’s how I knew you were starting to feel sorry for me being a slave. It’s the problem with having to make yourself completely open to griffins, you over hear others private thoughts.
“I hope I didn’t offend you.”
Aimee smiled, How would being called beautiful offend me?
“LOOK OUT!” Someone shouted from the rafters. Jovan jumped and pushed Aimee down and out of the way just as a harness that had been tethered to the rafters came swinging down.
Kaben stopped the harness from swinging back again and lowered it down slowly as he said, “Is everyone alright?”
Aimee looked up where the harness had been and there was Eridon looking down at her, Why Eridon?
Jovan helped Aimee off the ground, “Are you alright? I wonder how that saddle fell.”
Yeah I wonder to, but I’m fine. Aimee said as she dusted off her pants she sighed as she picked up her necklace and got back to training.
That night at dinner Aimee pulled Eridon aside What was that about?
“What?”
You tried to kill me didn’t you? I know your master wants me dead, you told me yourself. But to try and kill me with tons of witnesses?
Eridon whispered, “I didn’t try to kill you I was told to cut down the harness and give it a polish. I cut the wrong rope, I didn’t know it was going to fall like that! If I was trying to kill you why would I have shouted ‘look out’?”
