Aimee returns to her home world.

“The High King isn’t like that. He’s just and fair. He’s a very good king.”

The door to the throne room opened and a Tanulian female poked her head out announcing, “His majesty will see the children of Tanul now.”

Aimee took a deep breath This isn’t the first time I’ve stood before royalty, but then I had been purchased; now I am meeting the king of my home world.  When she entered the chamber she saw the High King surrounded by his three advisors, and one of his son’s advisers. She curtsied as she had been shown and awaited the High King’s acknowledgement. One of the male advisors stepped forward, clothed in his pale blue robes of office. He smiled and said, “His majesty the High King Arameus welcomes home the lost children of Tanul and acknowledges them.”

When she rose Aimee noticed the look on the second advisors face. The color had drained from his face and he looked as if he was going to be sick.

High King Arameus rose from his throne and stepped down to take a closer look at the children.  As he approached Aimee he thought This is her, but it’s still not safe. He lifted Aimee’s chin with his index finger, “I hope my granddaughter is just like you young lady.”

Aimee just smiled and curtsied as the king went to look at her brother Eridon. Finally he went to Jarron and whispered, “After I send the children out I want to speak with you a bit more.” Turning back to the children, “I hope you will all find your families one day, and we shall do everything in our power to help in your search. Kirshen?”

The woman advisor came up, “Yes your majesty!”

“Show these children out while I talk with Jarron, and then join us in my office.”
