This is an excerpt from a book chapter of explaining about the ancient Ethiopian people created the first known civilization to humanity and how they also gave birth to other early societies as well.

The Southern Arabs represents a residue of the Hamitic populations which at one time occupied the whole of Arabia.  In 1881, Heinrich Karl Brugsh stated, “A third body of the Cushites went to the north of Egypt and founded on the east of the Delta, the kingdom of the so-called Hyksos, whom tradition designated sometimes as Phoenicians and sometimes as Arabians, and in both cases rightly.”  In 1902, Henry Field wrote in his memoirs a full description of the Modern Arabians, “Among these Negroid features which may be counted normal in Arabs are the full, rather than everted lips, shortness and width of nose, certain blanks in the bearded areas of the face between the lower lip and chin and on the cheeks; large, luscious, gazelle-like eyes, a dark brown complexion, and a tendency for the hair to grow in ringlets. Often the features of the more Negroid Arabs are derivatives of Dravidian India rather than inheritances of Hamitic Africa. Although the Arabs of today are sharply differentiated from the Negro of Africa, yet there must have been a time when both were represented by a single ancestral stock; in no other way can the prevalence of certain Negroid features be accounted for in the natives of Arabia.”

The Roman general Marcellinus was involved in the invasion of Africa in the fifth century A.D. mentioned the nomads from Arabia as descendants from one of the cataracts of the Nile and the border region of the Blemmyaes (Nubians).  The men was said to be equal in rank, overrunning different countries using swift horses, speedy camels, whether in times of war or peace.  These men were described as being half-naked or dressed in colored cloaks that extended down to the waist.
Based on the commentary of Western writers, people of Shem (Semitic ancestry) were said to be of Hebrew and Arabian origin.  They said the Hamites were Africans and Japhetites were Europeans or of East Asian descent.  The ideology adopted by the Western Christian doctrine is that people of Ham, Shem, and Japheth differed in racial appearance.  The Western Christian ideology contradicts with the ancient genealogical traditions of the native people of the Arabian people.

In the original Arabian genealogical tradition, the descendants of Noah were the aboriginal people who settled on the Arabian Peninsula after the flood, which was recorded in the Bible.  A European traveler circa 1887 commented on his analysis of an Arab sheikh of the Huwaytat tribe located northwest Arabia and said, “The sheikh soon afterwards appeared.  He was a dirty, truculent (hostile) looking fellow, with very black eyes and very white teeth, a sinister expression, and complexion scarcely less dark than that of a Negro.”   The Huwaytat are one of the Arabian tribes that reside in Jordan and the Sinai region.  The Huwaytat people also settled in Egypt and Sudan and are known today as the Ababideh people living along the Red Sea coast of ancient Nubia (present day Sudan).

The Ethiopian Semites and their Language

The Semitic languages are really dialects rather than separate languages which are inter-related to one another.  The Semitic languages are spoken by more a half billion people covering regions such as the Horn of Africa, North Africa, West Africa, the Middle East, and Western Asia.  The Semitic languages are apart of the Afro-Asiatic language family, and the most widely spoken of them by far today is Arabic since the advent of Islam……………To be continued
