Sort of a rushed way of bringing in Fantasy elements. My story won’t always be so rushed.

Zion was tired. After being worked to a near-death condition yesterday by the P.E. teacher, who refused to believe that Zion was extremely weak, he didn’t want to go back to school. Zeke popped in to see Zion pathetically draped over his bed.

“Time to get up,” said Zeke. Zeke poked Zion to make sure he was still alive.

“Not if I have to put up with that monster again…

“The principal already said she’d handle him.”

“So what, so he can torture me again?” Zion groaned. He did not want to run one hundred laps a second time, nor do any other extraneous exercise. The principal was strict on bullying, but she wasn’t feared by everyone. Those who did not fear her, ridiculed her.

“Mom will bag you up and send you to school in your pajamas; I hope you know that.”

Zion groaned and rolled off of his bed. Zeke left him to start his morning routine. Half an hour later, Zion was active and raring to go. His food was gone in seconds, his backpack neatly packed with high school goods, and his brother and sister ready to leave.

“Don’t get into any more trouble, Zeke! I can’t keep up with you and Zion’s bullying!”

“Yeah, yeah, everything will be fine!” Zeke, Lisa, and Zion left for high school.

            “Don’t forget.”

“What?” Zion looked towards Zeke and Lisa, but neither of the two seemed to hear the fifth voice. It was too… hollow to be his mother, too light to be Zeke, and too deep to be Lisa.
