04 Short Lived Romance

It has been days since he last saw her. He was so surprised that she was his moonlight girl. If he was surprised, she looked more astounded. Who would have thought that a pair of eyeglass could hide such beauty? He closed his eyes as he leaned over the bed’s headboard. He remembered what happened back then,.

“So it’s you, my moonlight girl.”

Her not so small eyes widened in surprise and she slightly pushed me away from her. Her hair was now messily worn down and some of her bangs were dangling over. She looks so cute and sexy in a weird way. Her lips were slightly opened which made me just want to cover it with my own. Erase. Erase.

“W.. What do .. What did you just call me?” She asked in a stuttering manner.

It made him laugh. The way she shyly looked down with her cheeks flushed in bright red colour.

“My moonlight girl.”

“Err , what an outrageous name!” She blurted.

It was so cute seeing her fidgeting in shyness.

“It suited you.” He said.

“On what way?!” She asked as she tried to maintain her distance.

“I saw you one time at an abandoned park around my neighborhood.”

He saw her eyes flicked. It seems she could remember something about an abandoned park. She nodded, urging me to continue with my story.

“I came from a late night practice with the team when I heard music somewhere in that area. Mind you, I hated music for a long time. My feet unconsciously dragged me there then I saw you” He explained as he stared at her intently.

“Then?” She curiously asked.

“For the first time, I was mesmerized by a girl. My eyes can’t leave you and follow every movement you made. At that time, I felt my heart stopped for a second and your sight was so breathtaking.”

He looked at her and saw her gasped. He smiled at her and continued.

“I never believe in love at first sight but right there and then I wanted to be a believer. Boring story, ne?” He asked as he felt his cheeks flustered.
