“I.. I.. I never knew someone watched me that time.” She said.

He gave her a puzzling look since it felt there was a story behind her words.

“My family forbids me to dance. God knows why but they even forbid listening to music nor sing a few tunes.” She admitted in a bitter tone.

“Why?”

He saw her looking like she’s troubled whether to answer his question or not.

“For my sake, they said. Aah. So, I tend to sneak out and do those things.” She said as her face was filled with sadness.

“But after a week, you disappeared without any traces. I was kind of disappointed.”

“My brother discovered my sneaking out act and eventually located my hide out then I was heavily guarded for awhile.” She answered in a disappointed tone.

“But you can at least do this now. I’ll make sure to protect this place for you.”

She smiled sweetly but it never reached her eyes.

“Thank you. You’re such a sweet guy. I’m glad I met you.” She said as she closed the distance we had earlier.

“Me too. I’m happy to see you again.” He said as he reached out for him and pulled her in an embrace.

“Yun-” 

He placed his one finger over her lips to cut her off.

“I always wanted to hold you like this. I’m not sure if this is love but one thing’s for sure, you’re someone I cherish.” He said as his lips descend into hers.

He felt her lips quivered. It was a quick brush of their lips but they knew it was more.

“Don’t leave again. Don’t leave me hanging again, Dee.” He pleaded as he hold her closer to him.

He smiled as he remembered the quick kiss that happened. He knew they were not officially together but her passiveness which allowed him to hold her, kiss her reassured him. He can’t wait for tomorrow. He’s excited to see her again. His moonlight girl.

She was in a state of euphoria when her older brother came in. He looked like he would kill someone now. She smiled at his brother and looked down again.

“Heard that you escaped again?” He asked.

She nodded. She knew she can’t lie to him. She could never do.

Silence.

He slammed his hands at the table. He glared at her which made her shook in fear.

“Why can’t you just listen to us for once?!” He yelled at her.

She looked at him. She was scared at him even if he was her brother. She knew that his brother was trying to protect her but imprisoning her wouldn’t do any good. She felt her heart keeps beating rapidly than it was supposed to.

“It would do me.. It won’t cause me any harm … “ She said as her hands reached for her chest to stop her rapid heartbeat.

“Yeah, right” He sarcastically rebuked as he rolled his eyes.

“You should knew better! You can’t see him again. You can’t be with him, not now. Not now.” He pleaded.

“But Max! You should understand .. You..” She exclaimed as she finds her surrounding blacken. Her breathing became irregular.

He stopped his track and saw her, lying, barely breathing.

“Damn! Dee, Dee, Stay strong!”

It was the last thing she heard then her sight went out.
