A YunDy fic.

03 So it’s you.

It has became a habit of him to drop by at the back of the gymnasium to talk to her. For him, she was not that beautiful nor gorgeous like the girls in their university. She never wore mini skirts, high heels nor a hint of cosmetics. He could not smell any perfume on her but she still smells good for him. He always sees in her loose shirt, baggy pants and sneakers. Her hair was always tied into a bun and she always wear her black rimmed glasses. Despite her simple, nerdy image, he still finds her appealing.

He smiled at the thoughts that were running on his mind. He could just sigh since he couldn’t even concentrate on his meeting and would warily look at the wall clock. It’s already three in the afternoon, the usual time he meet up with her. He would always look forward this time of the day but look at where he is now. He’s stuck with the council and their boring talks about the festivals and budgets.

“Yunho. Yunho.”

He felt someone slapped him from the back. He saw Micky furiously staring at him. Micky’s the council treasurer and assigned to allocate the budget. He was also his childhood friend and the one who always tend to scold him whenever he lost his way.

“Are you listening to us?” Micky asked.

He nodded as he stared past Micky’s furious gaze.

“You sure about that?”

“Yeah.” He answered to pacify Micky’s anger.

“Then what are we talking about again earlier?” Micky asked.

“Uhmm. The budget allocation.” He answered with the safest answer he could think of.

“What about it?” Micky asked doubting his friend’s answer.

“Isn’t that why we’re arguing about anyway. The budget allocation?” He asked pretending that he indeed was listening but was just trying to fish out some answers.

Micky sighed in frustration and gave him a glare which I just laugh it off. Time was moving slowly for me. I couldn’t help it but it seems that the clock was broken in a way. It seems like it was turning slower than before. Tic. Tok. Tic. Tok.

After the long wait, the meeting have ended and he immediately jumped up his seat and rushed towards the door. He heard Micky yelling at him.
