02 Nice to Meet You

It has been a week since he heard that enchanting voice singing at the back of the gymnasium. He keep coming back but he was not able to catch a glimpse of the owner of the voice. The voice that made him be interested in music again. He sighed and remembered the voice again. It was not his type of music but could not help but get swayed by it.

As he reached the place and as to what he had expected, he could not find anyone singing, He sighed and walked away from the place with a heavy heart. He was looking down and he could not see the person coming in the opposite direction.

Blag!

“Aww. Ouch.” He heard someone say.

He looks up and saw the familiar figure that he bumped into. It was the same girl from last time. He took the time to look at her. She had her hair tied into a bun and was wearing a thick rimmed black glassed. Her oversized black shirt was crumpled a bit. He find her outfit outdated but it seems to fit her well in his point of view.

After a few more seconds of complaints, he saw her look up and met his eyes. Both of them eye widened and she immediately looked away.

“It’s you again!” He exclaimed.

“Yeah, you’re the sleeping guy!” She said as she shyly looked at him again.

“What are you doing here then?” He asked her as he helped her up.

“Hmm. I tend to relax here whenever I wanted to escape.” She answered with a hint of sadness in her eyes.

“Escape from what?” He asked as he motioned her to follow him to the nearest bench.

“Hmm. I guess from reality?” She answered but for him, it seems more of like a question to herself.

“Why do you want to escape from reality?” He asked as he stares at the open sky.

“Hmmm.. To live?” She answered as she let out a forced laugh.

Then a deafening silence comes in between them. She suddenly stood up which surprised him. He saw her take a deep breath then smiled at him.

“What’s your name again?” She asked as she tries to change the topic.

He respected her privacy and decided to have it her way.

“Jung Yunho.”

He saw her nod as if noting it to herself.
