Earth suffers from a devastating biological attack from Xenophobic aliens bent on wiping out all other intelligent life forms in the Galaxy. But on earth, they get much more than they bargain for.
Unfinished.

Paul, now he was an interesting character. His family history wasnt on the right side of the law. His father had been highly connected in Organized Crime. He would never get anyone directly hurt, however supplying those who would intentionally hurt or kill someone was another matter. He had been extremely good, and had a good reputation among Mafia and was well known around the world for supplying the best arms completely under the radar of any law enforcement agency. As a result Paul’s father had acquired an incredible amount of money over the years, but he had gotten a little greedy and stepped on the wrong toes. He was killed by a competitor arms supplier several years ago. Paul had never known him very well, his parents were never around for anything. So Paul lived alone with bodygaurds and house servants who all loved their jobs, if constantly wary of anything suspicious. Paul tries to keep this family secret, except from his freinds who didnt really care one way or another what his father did. Ben usually quoted the “sins of the father” line, convincing Paul that he didnt have to follow his father’s footsteps. To the others Paul was another freind, if a very wealthy freind with several tons of experimental and conventional weapons hiding in the secret second basement of his house.

It was a mostly ordinary day for the four freinds. Ben was the only one who was interested in the meteor shower at all. “Are you guys going to come out to watch the meteors tonight?” Ben asked.

The four of them we’re walking to Paul’s home down a broken paved road with more potholes than pavement. This was their normal routine, once school ended the 4 mile walk down a completely straight utterly broken road began. The shops and stores on either side gave the whole town a worn down and old feel. And since it was in the middle of an early heatwave the feilds and hills surrounding the town were all a dry gold and brown.

“No, and neither are you. Tonight is the scheduled dungeon run, remember?” Paul reminded him. “I remember, i was the one who started it. But its going to be a year before this meteor shower comes around again” This was typical for Ben, as usual he wanted to see something from outerspace. Joe spoke next:”Then watch it next year. We’ve almost cleared the entire dungeon, we’re at the last Boss, and your the best healer we have, you of all people know you have to be there”
