Diary of the Young Detective!
Chapter one of 6!
Part one of 3!

A Heated Beginning! Part 1 of 3

JUNE 26th, 2006- On June 26th we had just finished our junior year of high school at Miami High. Be we I mean Calvin, Rick, Leon, and I. We have all been friends since the sand box years. Calvin Masters has always been the conceded smarty pants of the group. He is a 5” 9’ tan know it all with the yellowiest blonde hair you have ever seen with eyes as blue as the sea. You’ll always see him wearing jeans and a blue or purple T-shirt while holding a Sherlock Holmes book. From time to time he’ll wear a red shirt symbolizing he is angry. He can be a real hot-head when he finds out he is wrong about something, but that barley happens. Rick, the real hot-head of the group, might not be the sharpest knife in the kitchen, but he certainly is the biggest and strongest. A 6-year Regional Karate Champion, Rick Rolem, or Rick Rock for short, is both strong and agile. He’s like those amazingly acrobatic yet powerful ninjas you see in the movies only bigger. Rick became our friend in Kindergarten when we helped him find his way back to the classroom after he got lost. He has backed us all up ever since and has become a real nice friend. Rick is the tallest of us all. He is a 6” 4’ muscular boy with the appetite of four hungry lions. His eyes are green and sparkly, while his hair is brown with dark-reddish stripes. Our soccer star is none other than Sir Leon Lo himself. A natural soccer player since birth, he eats, breathes, and dreams soccer. His first words were goal since he heard his dad yell that every time the game was on, and he began to kick a ball before he learned to read. He’s played soccer since the age of 6 whether it was on a team or at school and as never backed down from a challenge no matter how big the opponent. He became our friend when he moved to my neighborhood at the age of 5. He is a black-hair, 5”2’ slim boy with the eye color of a plum. Finally, I am known as the walking encyclopedia, Tina Jones! I know hundreds of facts ranging from human body to speed of a car. I learn these things to make up for my poor athletic finesse. Although I’m only 4” 10’ I’m a big help. Big things come in small packages, right? I met Calvin first at Pre-K we were best friends. Then I and he met Rick and I met Leon and got him acquainted with the others. Anyway, after we got out of school we went to my house and began to make plans. We all suggested we get a group car, but we didn’t have the money.
