“Alright, alright.”  He sighs deeply. “Just do what you can Sonya, this is to much to deal with right now.  We need to find out what the hell is going on.”

            “I know.  Hey listen, Malcolm says he just fed and will be in soon.”  Now it’s her turn to sigh. “I wish I knew what it was like to feed so easily from a willing donor.  It’s so much cheaper than buying from the distributors.”
            “Oh great, two missing employees isn’t enough for me to deal with right now? I also have to discuss how much I pay you?”  His smile somehow translates over the speakerphone. “Besides, if you got out of your little computer cave once in a while and went to the places Malcolm frequents I bet you could find any number of willing donors.”

            “The places Malcolm frequents are disgusting dens of iniquity.  I’d rather suck on a dead rat than go to one of those blood bars.” 

            “Well, grab a drink and get up here the others will be here soon and we need to get to the bottom of this.”

            “Yes sir, I’ll be right up.”

            The face of the Akos Consultancy looks haggard at this moment.  He is in sore need of a shave and a good night’s sleep, neither of which he plans to get until he finds out what happened to his people.  Someone is doing something to the employees of his company and he intends to find out exactly what that is.  Grabbing his stack of materials he heads to the conference room, and begins reading through the case files while waiting for his crew to show up.
