He was fast she would have to give him that. But as she sped up maybe she was faster. How could he move like this was her question. Nothing that she knew of could move like this and that included cars and in some cases small planes. She would catch him though and most of them that could move this fast could not fight to. Little did she know that this one (unnaturals as they were called) unnaturals looked like normal people but with a few exceptions, like they could move faster like this one could, they knew when another was close like the woman chasing him could. Others could manipulate elements(fire, water, earth, air ,etc.) some could read minds and you get he point. But for the most part they could not do a lot. like the fighters were not fast. The runners could not fight, and so on and so forth. And all were good at hiding who they were. But when one slipped up it was her job to find, hunt, and kill the one she could find. She remembered when she was a little girl. ****
“Rose! come here”
“Yes mom” she called down the stairs while running down them. She went into the living room, there was an old man there. For a moment she thought she had done something wrong, but then dismissed the thought because she had done nothing, no fights listened to the teacher in school. And minded what her parents said. The man was not smiling like she was and when she saw this her smile quickly evaporated as well. “Yes?” she asked in a very little, and scared voice. The man stood, he was much more intimidating when he stood. “Hello Rose my name is doctor James. Have your parents ever mentioned me to you before?” She stared into his dark green eyes that told her nothing of what was inside his head. “No where they supposed to?” He laughed at that. It was not a laugh that ment he thought something was funny, more that it was amusing. “No they did not have to but some do it all depends on what they want you to know.” That was when her mom decide that he had said enough. “Does it really have t be now? I mean she can wait a few years before she starts can’t she?”
