“So today class we are going to explore the probable causes of a third world war.” The introduction of the lesson for the day left the professor with an interesting gloom as the classroom lights dimmed and the projector screen draped falling from the ceiling. The projector then turned on showing a man lifting another man’s head bodiless. “This is a warrior of what century?” The students studied the man noticing his rifle being a scoped ak47. His clothing was torn, dirty, and resembled camouflage worn by The United Federation the western side of the land. His side arm a 9mm silenced pistol at his hip and he held a bowie knife in his left hand while blood dripped from the elbow of his right arm. His hair shaved his beard while medium in length, was dark brown and kept clean. His complexion was white. His eyes open wide and blue. Above his left shirt pocket read something, but this was blurred. One student raised her hand. “Yes Jessica?” The professor called on a student that would almost never raise her hand, a student that seemed somewhat of an outcast.
“That is a soldier of The United Confederation.” Jessica stated sounding so sure and yet bored.
“How can you be so sure?” The professor asked.
“Because of the black line down the front of his clothing.” she replied with resentment.
“That could just be some man wearing fallen soldiers fatigues.” The professor pointed out trying to expose Jessica’s confidence to herself.
“Then why is there a confederate flag in the background and I don’t think he is carrying that black mans head for no reason.” Jessica replied.
“Good observation Jessi….” Jessica interrupted her.
“Not to mention the gear he is carrying, the boots he is wearing, and the knife reads ‘made in confederacy’.” The professor then moves closer to the screen moving her glasses to magnify the picture perhaps even to read the wording on the knife.
“Why yes, yes he is from the army of the Confederacy but what century is he from Jessica?” She asks with kindness.
