The Thernians a powerful alien race created a weapon. It is a weapon, capable of destroying planets. After realizing this weapon could be misused and could not be entrusted to any one race or person.

The Thernians divided “The Gate” into five wrist bans. When the wrist bands were activated each of the wearers would activate a small amount of “The Gate”s’ power. Each “power” activated is unique to the particular wrist band. The bands were given names and then hidden on an inconspicuous planet…Earth. They were hidden in five different locations. An evil, which is known only, as “The Empire,” with its leaders, Overon and Vatacaius. These evil beings seek the gate and employ many other aliens to seek out the Gate and claim it even if it involves a few deaths.

Volume 1: Mind over matter

Mexico, Central America. Newly discovered Mayan ruins. The ruins are not yet named, but Dr. Gordon Powers was thinking of naming them soon. Dr. Powers was the lead archeologist on the recovery team sent by The Society of Archeology a newly founded organization. Dr. Powers worked for S.O.A now for three years. He was truly brilliant. This dig was also funded by the C. I .A; some evidence surfaced that this particular site may have had alien activity. Normally the C.I.A would dismiss claims of UFO’s and the like. One of their super-computers came across a pot. It turned out however to be no ordinary Mayan pot. The pot was inscribed with an unknown language. It took years for the computer to crack the symbols. They spoke of an alien craft landing. Contact with aliens; it would appear from the inscription the aliens gave these Mayan’s something very important.

Dr. Powers was a tall, lean man. He was Caucasian, with short blond hair and a blond goatee. Dr. Powers at the time of this dig was thirty eight years old, married with a sixteen year old son Patrick. Patrick was named after Saint Patrick of Ireland. Patrick whom was now on summer vacation had joined his father on the dig. Dr. Powers was the “boss” on sight he authorized Patrick to be there along with Patrick’s best friend Kara.

Patrick was almost as tall as his father; almost six feet. Patrick was also blond, he had no facial hair and like the stereo typical nerd he wore glasses. Patrick’s I.Q was 140; close to genius but not quite. Patrick played chess for fun, he studied human psychology and English (so his vocabulary was vast).

Kara was a sixteen year old African American girl. She was an athletic girl. She wore her hair in long braids often with beads on the ends. Kara was shorter than Patrick; she was only 5′8”. Kara was thick, not fat but she appeared chubby. Playing soccer kept her fit. She had an average intelligence. She was a very warm and loving person; quick to give a hug, unlike the introverted Patrick. She had medium sized bust and large buttocks and a nice face.

Hey! I loved it! Great job! I love sci-fi! I like Star Wars especially, but I think that I like this just as well!

There is much that I want to say about this (plus and minus), but I don’t want to say it publicly. I’ll write you an e-mail about it. I’ll just say here that you have something with considerable potential, but you need to “cultivate” it much more fully if you’re going to “bring it to ripeness”. That said, you just might have encouraged me to try something of my own here … based on ideas that I’ve been “cultivating” my whole life! — Best wishes, jhw
