The Thernians a powerful alien race created a weapon. It is a weapon, capable of destroying planets. After realizing this weapon could be misused and could not be entrusted to any one race or person.
“Patrick look, you’re floating.” Kara was now wide eyed. Patrick glanced down, he was floating towards the hole. He willed himself down, and he floated down.
“Amazing it responds to my thoughts.” Patrick said.
“Whoa Patrick, this is not some experiment.” Kara said.
“Oh come on! How often does one get first hand knowledge of alien technology?”
“As often as one may be locked up by the C.I.A for hiding it.” Kara scolded.
“I wonder what else it can do?” Patrick.
“You’re ignoring me Pat!” Kara did not want her friend messing around with strange technology.
Patrick focused on a rock nearby.
“What are you doing Patrick?”
“You’ll see.” The rock floated into the air. “Amazing!”
“Put that down.” Kara. Suddenly the rock exploded into thousands of pieces. “What was that?”
“Amazing I destroyed it with my mind.” Patrick stared at the band in wonder.
“You’re not thinking about keeping it are you?”
['You read my mind.'] She heard in her head.
“Ok Patrick that’s not funny.” Kara pouted.
“I can project my thoughts to others, telepathy and telekinesis amazing.”
“Amazing if we don’t get back to camp, your dad will have a cow.”
“Promise not to tell.” Patrick said seriously.
“Ok, ok I’ll keep it secret for now, but we need to figure out what that thing is.” Kara advised.
Patrick began toying with it as they were leaving the cave.
“Power Gate activated.” A computer generated voice said.
“What is that?” Kara shouted.
“Must be some kind of A.I; artificial intelligence.”
“I know what A.I is Patrick.” Kara said. Suddenly a map appeared, floating in the air. The map showed a yellow pulsating dot.
“Hey that’s Florida. Think there is another one of these things there?” Patrick asked with curious glee.
“You want to go look for it don’t you?” Kara folded her arms.
“I’ll just fly us there, we find it and fly back, no on will be the wiser.” Patrick sounded overly excited now.
“Whoa bro. Fly? You’ve barely had that thing…”
“Power Gate, it called itself the Power Gate.”
“Whatever Patrick, you think you can fly?”
“If I can float…why not fly?” Patrick asked as they exited the cave.
“Ok, I’ll go but we have to come right back, any trouble we call your dad ok!” Kara smiled.
“Yes!” Patrick screamed and hugged her. He held her hand.
“Up, up and away?” Kara joked.
“No, I don’t think our caped friend would like us to borrow his lines.” Patrick laughed as they both floated toward the sky.
An alien fleet in space, deep in space light years from earth. Leader of the conscript army was Overon. The dark blue ships seemed to be just floating waiting. On the lead ship Captain Granite sat on the helm. Granite was a large male Maxian, the Maxians served the Empire as their first strike soldiers. Maxians were gray in color, hairless, eyes red. The Maxians looked like if they were carved out of stone.
The Maxians were very strong able to lift a maximum of thirty tons. Their skin was practically indestructible; a bullet would bounce off of them. Only laser capable of cutting titanium would injure them. They dressed in dark blue, arms exposed. They wore dark blue, calf high boots. The blue uniform, appeared to be spandex. They wore a light blue material as a belt.
A soldier approached Granite. “Sir, the Power Gate has been activated.”
“Really? Put in the coordinates.” Granite said. Granite then called Overon . Overon sat on his home planet of Asyris in his palace.
Overon had blue metallic skin, which looked like clothes. He wore what appeared to be a ski mask made of metal. Only his eyes could be seen. He wore a yellow cape.
“Sire, one of the gates has been activated.”
“You know what to do.” Overon replied.
