Three weeks before the American Revolution, underworld was created as a disposal area for failed genetic experiments, which the American forefathers thought all died. Unknown to them, they thrived.

It was a beautiful day in the Underworld and the year was 1971. The screaming flowers were in bloom. The hero of this story is James E. Miller who has brown eyes, long hair, and horns. He is a five year old blade tail who can control all five elements but the only one he was good at was wind.

“Playing in the backyard…” Jimmy said to himself.

“Stop talking to yourself Jimmy!” Lizzy shouted.

“I’m the strongest out of all seven of us still!” James bragged.

Liz proceeded to smack James across the chest with her blade tail.

“Owie, you meanie!” James screamed. “You know blade tail marks don’t go away!”

“Hey love birds shut up!” Eddie the youngest out of them all shouted.

“You’re gross Eddie!” Liz shouted back to Eddie.

“Why are you both afraid of the water?” Their dad asked them.

“I’m not afraid!” Liz said vehemently.

“Okay then…” Their dad said.

“Ahhh!” James and Liz screamed as their dad through them into the pool.

“Dad, you know me and Liz can’t fly!” James whined.

“I know but how else are you going to learn? Ha. ha ha.” Their Dad explained.

“But we already know how to swim so why did you throw us in here again?” Liz cried out.

“It’s fun!” Their dad answered while smiling.

The next day on their way home from school, James and Eddie were on a bridge. James was walking on the bridge and Eddie was flying over it next to James sneering at him.

“Don’t fall Jimmy!” Eddie sneered.

“You know I can’t fly Eddie! Don’t make fun of me!” James said.

The bridge started creaking and it broke. James was sent tumbling to the bottom of the bridge.

“Eddie, help me!” James shouted while falling.

“I don’t know what to do!” Eddie screamed panicking.

James fell through many tunnels on his ass before finally stopping and staying in one.

“Owwww-Where am I?” James said.

“Jimmy are you okay?” Eddie peered down below from the sky and shouted.

“No I’m not! I have no idea where I am!” James shouted back.

“Stop crying, I’ll be right there to get you out!” Eddie shouted and he flew down to James.

“Where am I?” James shouted.

“Jimbo, you there?” Eddie asked.

“Yeah follow the wind!” James said.

“Like what?” Eddie said stupidly.

“Brat!” James shouted.

“Crybaby!” Eddie stated.

“Says you!” James stated.

“Says everyone!” Eddie stated.

“You better hope you don’t find me Eddie!” James shouted.

“Light a fire!” Eddie said.

“You didn’t fart did you?” James asked bluntly.

“You know what I mean!” Eddie stated losing his patience.

“Ow, you hit me!” James said.

“You don’t have to yell at me! Light a fire so we can both see.” Eddie said.

“No way! What if this is one of the hell routes Dad keeps warning us about?” James said.

Electrical noises are now turning lights on to prove that it is the hell route that James was talking about.

“Jimmy, why are hell routes one of the only things Dad warns us never to go to and even the government officials of Underworld warn us never to go too?” Eddie asked fearfully.

“Because anything like that in Underworld means certain death. I just hope we are not heading to the gate…” James answered.

“You don’t mean Cerberus-

“No, cerberus doesn’t have a route to it.” James answered. “There are twenty five hundred gates in all. Each is guarded by who knows what…Oh no.”

“What is it Jimmy?” Eddie asked.

“Wh-wh-wh-where at a gate!” James stuttered.

The two children witness a tall man with blond hair and blue eyes coming out of the wall. The sign above him said Zonekey’s realm.

“Who dares disturb my slumber!” A deep and mysterious voice coming from the man answered.

“Jimmy I think that’s probably Zobbababy!” Eddie said.

“I think it’s pronounced Zonekey.” James answered.

“Bladetail you are right, now what are the names I should put on your tombstones?” The voice answered.

“Don’t say your name, it might be its power!” James said.

“No it’s lightening. Now tell me your names!”

James began roaring to breathe fire.

“Breathing fire won’t help you!” Zonekey said.

“Eddie run!” James shouted.

“You’re dragons! Transform blade tail, I want a fair fight!” Zonekey demanded.

“You’d kill kids?” Eddie stated in horror.

“You’re in my realm. There is no age here!” Zonekey explained.

“Whaa-” James said in shock.

“Transform now!” Zonekey shouted vehemently.
