The first chapter in the story about Draal, the chosen one!
Its early morning . I just woke up from a deep sleep…
«Ahh , its good to be awake!» I jumped out of bed and got my clothes on . «Let`s see out the window if somethings going on right now!» i thinked . I walked to the window , and pushed the curtains aside . Outside everything was as normal : Old ladys sitting in rockie chairs outside their house , farmers trying to sell their vegetables , some nasty thiefs trying to pickpocket unaware people . I got out of my room and down to the kitchen . My dad was allready making some sandwiches for my little sister . «Hi dad , can you make me some sandwiches too?» i asked while i took up the newspaper .
«Well , you could do it yourself , but ok , since its Midsummerday today.» «Is it Midsummerday? I must have forgotten it» , i said and sat down in a chair .
On the front page of the newspaper it was a big drawing from last year Midsummerday Fireworks . It was also much text below , were Johnny Knockvill , the town journalist , had written : Last Year Midsummerday was spectacular ! The big fireworks blowed joy in even sad people , and , the Magican says that this year it will become even more mindblowing! The farmers have prepared Midsummerday apple sweets and much good drinks , for tonight at the TownPlaza much money can be earned . At least if you sell thing , not buy . The Major also made a deal with the Lumberjacks , and they brought wood enough for a bonfire that will last all night trough! The Tailors have much in theyr hands for tonight, for tonight is the night when the children dress up in costymes and play and have fun all night long! We all see forward to the night , but as allways ; Beware of thiefs!
«I dont know why the pickpockers want to destroy the night for someone by taking all theyr money!» , i said angry . «They dont want to destroy for others , they just need money to enjoy the night themself , but im agree with that they should not steal , but things cost so much that the poor people dont have much other things to do , the Major and the farmers should make thing less afordable!» dad said , a little angry him too .
«Well , there is nothing to do about it , just to ensure our pockets are closed and dont get opened my those nasty , little thiefs!» i said , and they dad came with my sandwiches . «Thanks dad» , i said . «No problem» , he answered and took my sisters sandwiches to her , since she sat inn the living room playing with wooden toys and her doll . I ate my sandwiches and said : «I need to go get more wood , bye dad , bye mum , bye Lisa!» i shouted in the living room door .
