Chapter 6.
Chapter Six
After Jimmy left Olivia didn’t know what else to do. She was rather bummed that she didn’t really learn anything from confronting him and it still bothered her. He promised to be back in the morning with “something to help occupy the time”. She adjusted herself underneath the sheets but her movements were limited in the hospital bed. After getting comfortable she thought of all the things Jimmy could bring that would help with making her days pass by a little faster.
He had reminded her that she better be ready for when their graduation ceremony rolled around. That had caused a serious freak out from her for a good half hour. With all the events happening in the matter of a few days, she had forgotten that she truly wasn’t done with high school until she walked out of Pearl City High School’s gymnasium with her diploma in hand. But with the way things kept popping up, she wasn’t sure if she was even going to be making it to her own graduation.
Following graduation, there would be a series of other things that would come along. Her graduation party was most likely going to be smashed in with her birthday party which some might see as killing two birds with one stone but she didn’t like it. She felt robbed in a way. It was like having your birthday on Christmas which meant she would get half the presents, and most of them pertaining to the seasonal theme.
Alongside her own graduation party, there would be many of her classmates having them as well. She knew she wouldn’t be invited to many of the other parties but Jimmy would be and he would drag her along. Olivia could already guess Chelsie’s party was going to be “the” party of the year. Anybody who was somebody throughout school would be there and that definitely did not include Olivia. No way would Chelsie chance everything she had by having Olivia at her party even if deep down she might want to because she still wanted to be friends.
With all the thoughts and worries circling in her mind she began to get a headache and the fact she was on drugs and connected to machines added to it. She began to feel drowsy and sleep was going to take over. She wiggled deeper into the sheets so she was fully lying down and it didn’t take long before she was out.
