This review/recap contains spoilers so if you have not seen the show and don’t want it ruined for you don’t read further.

We start with a summary of the first few episodes and learn that Tyler continues to be more and more unstable, ultimately leading to a a showdown at Daniel’s birthday party. 

We start the episode 2 days earlier with Emily and Daniel planning his birthday party, something small and informal, a dinner party on the beach she suggest he likes the idea and agrees. Emily leaves as Conrad arrives bearing an olive branch trying to recover his family, Daniel he will continue working with his father but demands that he fire Tyler, Conrad agrees.  They seem to bury the hatchet and Conrad leaves, but Daniel phones his mother and pledges to help her with anything she needs in her divorce with his father.  When asked she asks what he wants for his birthday bash, he replies something simple, a clambake on the beach.  Victoria suggest that Ashley could help Emily with the dinner.

The flow with this episode is very well timed, the mention of Emily name shows her arrive at Nolan’s house and in a half apology the two reconcile their friendship will withstand this little bump.  They discuss Tyler and how good he is at manipulating people and how he was able to surprise Emily, Nolan adds that Tyler stole the wall camera with the video files, Nolan feels like they have lost this little battle. Emily thinks that they can use it to their advantage. Nolan likes the idea, and brings up another Amanda, Emily is certain that she will be leaving soon. The first priority is Tyler. Nolan put a tracking device on Tyler’s phone so he promises to keep an eye on him.

Conrad and Victoria sit down with their lawyers and discuss their divorce.  After the prenuptial is brought up, Huntley states that since the contract was signed when Victoria was pregnant, under Duress (name of the episode), the contract is void and Victoria has the right to 50 percent of the estate.  Conrad and Victoria bicker about money throughout.  The biggest sticking point is Charlotte’s custody which both want sole custody of.  Conrad leaves the meeting and arrives in his office to find Tyler waiting for him. Tyler ups the blackmail, he has more incriminating videos of Conrad’s involvement not only in murder but the frame up of David Clark.  Even Conrad is surprised at how ruthless Tyler is.
