The Conclusion of Rogue Lycan…Chapter nine.

“Its hard to think of her as really gone…” Lilia sighed to Mora.

“Don’t worry.” Mora said trying to comfort Lilia. “I don’t think Sonluth would have let her die that easily. But if she did go, I’m sure she’s watching over you, and would want you to be happy. They were both tough people, so I’m sure they survived. Maybe they just wanted some space and decided to remain hidden until all this died down.”

“Maybe…maybe…” Lilia sighed.

“I’m sure they’re fine.” They both heard a voice on the winds. “This will be the place they will return to someday, but not right now.” Then the winds went dead quiet, and the breeze stopped.

“Did you hear that?” Lilia asked Mora.

“Yes… yes I did.” Mora asked, still a little confused by the voice. Frantically they both looked around, but they could find no sign as to where the voice had come from. They dared not tell anyone else what they had heard, for fear of being labeled crazy and thrown into an asylum. But there was no mistaken what they had heard. The voice of Irena, being carried on the winds. And if they had heard her voice, they knew Sonluth’s voice probably wasn’t too far away either.

“Well done Sonluth… Well done…” the Elite Guard said to himself as he too had heard the voice.

“Daddy? Why are you smiling?” a little girl asked.

“Nothing Kura, its only the wind, just sit quietly and remember this incident so we won’t have to repeat it again, or if it bores you, take a nap, and I can tell you about it when you get older.” The man responded.
