The Conclusion of Rogue Lycan…Chapter nine.
Others that Sonluth released had suffered so much during their stay at Nocturn that they were too frightened to move. They remained cowered in their cells and remained too frightened to move. The Research Wing quickly became a massive inferno as Sonluth left a huge trail of destruction behind him. The Security Department quickly mobilized and met Sonluth at the central lobby, where all Four Wings of Nocturn intersect.
They stood in full riot gear, three people deep with snipers and regular shooters standing behind them. Their guns were all pointed towards Sonluth.
“So they sent in the grunts again…” Sonluth muttered as Osyris came over the intercom.
“I see you escaped from your fate from last time.” Osyris said. “But you’re still wounded and hurt from continuously battling, and I know you haven’t healed or rested. You may have gotten across the sporadic resistance before, and even past Irena, but I think you’ll be wise to surrender now and come back under our safe wing.”
“Safe?” Sonluth responded. “Don’t make me laugh. I’d rather die then come back under your so called safety.”
“It’s your call.” Osyris said with a laugh. “But no matter what, you’ll be working back with us, and even your little friend, which you surprisingly didn’t kill.”
It then struck Sonluth that he had left Mora and Irena by themselves back in the Research Wing. He instantly regretted that decision, but there was nothing he could do about it. He was facing a massive army of the Nocturn Security Force.
“They’ll be alright.” Sonluth muttered. “But for now I can’t worry about those two, I need to get to Osyris!” He started to form his two blades, but felt a small tingle of pain as he did.
“Any hostile movements and we’ll shoot!” the Squad Commander ordered.
“Hostile? Never!” Sonluth said. He knew he couldn’t take them all on at one time after feeling that tingle of pain. Instead, he noticed the nearby Surge Box and sliced his blade right through it. The electronics in the current and some of the adjacent rooms shut down and the rooms went completely dark. The back up generators took a while to start up due to the damage already inflicted on the compound. When it did come up Sonluth was no where to be seen.
