Chapter II

“Why me?” I was thinking. I don’t know the answer, at least not yet. “Why do I have this ability? How about Yuan? He has another strange ability. What do we have in common that makes us like this?” I couldn’t respond to that.

 As I laid on my bed, looking at the ceiling, and wondering all this; I eventually closed my eyes. I could hear a voice; it was calling me to wake up. It’s a beautiful woman voice. Mother? No… this is another person. But yet she insists that I wake up and see her.

 I opened my eyes, urging to see her and at the same time scared to do so. She wasn’t there, and at the same time she was.

 -Where am I? - I whispered to myself. I looked around and saw nothing, I wasn’t in my room, and I wasn’t anywhere. I couldn’t even see myself.

 -You are “here”. - I heard the voice. I could see only flashes and glimpses of her. She was so magical, angelic, like a goddess.

 I felt like I knew her, even thought I have never seen her before. Her face, or the bit I could see of it, was familiar. A maternal aura glowed from her, but she wasn’t my mother.

 -You are not alone. - She said. –You have met one of your companions, your childhood friend. There are two more like you and him. Now I command you, ask you, and beg you to find them. - She told me all this, it’s something I didn’t know but it’s something I’m not surprised to hear.

 I wasn’t really confused, and still I wondered. –How am I going to find them? - I asked.

 -Just look for them, you will eventually find them all. – She whispered. –Hans, kid of the flames, please help me, please help us all. –

 I stayed quite and everything became dark and her voice disappeared. I opened my eyes and I was in my room. “It was and wasn’t a dream at the same time.” I thought.

 She asked me for it, it was all optional; even though, I felt inside me like I really wanted to help her and “help us all”. I made my choice to search for those equals of me. Yuan was the first one I had to tell.

 I ran downstairs with all my essential needs packed up. I ate my breakfast. Then dad asked me. –Son, why do you have all that packed up? Where are you going? –

 I took a deep breath. – Mom. Dad. Do you mind if I do not take care of the farm for a while? – I managed to say.

 Mom was surprised by the question. She then directly asked me. –Sure, but where are you going, Hans? –

 -I won’t see you all in a while. I’m starting a journey. I’m going everywhere. -
