Skye’s Vision
Skye found herself floating without any body at all. She tried to speak, but made no sound. Suddenly she was somewhere else. It was a living room of someones home. She recognized a few of the people gathered there. They were friends of her older brother and there was Sally his strange girlfriend.
Lynda’s tears seemed to just flow in torrents. She tried to stop them, but couldn’t. Sally stood up and held her tightly. She realized how much she needed that, but she wished she was holding Jack. Lynda began to calm down and Sally sat back down still looking up at her friend.
“Ginger didn’t live long. She died in Jack’s arms. But she was able to tell him that Casey was the one that had done this to her. Jack cried over her for hours.” There were still tears in her eyes, but she sounded so calm.
Everyone was silent for a moment. Then Caroline spoke up, “How did he ever find out that Casey was a Satanist.”
Lynda sniffling, “He never told me about that”
“I know why,” Arnold.
“Tell us then,” Caroline.
“He only told Sam and I about this,” Arnold said, “Once you let Satanist know that you will attack them openly they sort of mark you and your friends.”
“Jack never attacked any Satanists,” Sally.
“He most certainly did,” Sam said, “Back when he was a senior in High School.”
“Tell us about it,” Caroline.
“Jack got the idea from the Youth Minister at church,” Arnold began, “He happened to be talking about premarital sex. He said something to the affect of not wanting to be caught by the Lord with his pants down in the back seat if his Chevy. And since Jack is naturally mischievous, this got his mind on a role.
