Follow the story of Treydon Austin (aka Smokey) as he chases down the cleverest, fastest, most uncatchable, most unmatchable members of The Bandit’s crime Syndicate as the government’s secret weapon against guys who are just too fast to catch. Check back every monday for the latest chapter to this fast paced action novel.
“You did it Trey, you did it!” Dixie shouted from the passenger seat. I slowed down and turned my face to look at her.
She gently slid her hand over mine. I hadn’t even known the girl for a whole day. I didn’t care, she was dang beautiful. She smiled and said “I need a ride home.”
I shuddered and said alright. Where to pretty lady?” Yes that was really cheesy, but girls like cheesy… don’t they?
She stepped out of the car, “See you tomorrow.” She shut the door and continued, poking her head through the window, “by the way, I’ll be wearing a black dress for homecoming.”
Oh man, oh man, I was so excited, homecoming was in two weeks, I had never been on a date before. I was worried I would screw it up.
Chapter 3, The Rise…
I went to the thrift store and picked up the nicest black suit they had. It was jet black with silver pinstripes, and it was made in 1966, but hey 1966 was cool right? At least it matched.
My dad didn’t know, he would have totally flipped if I had told him. Not that he would be mad, oh no just the opposite. He would get all excited and bombard me with questions about her. So I just told him I was hanging out with some friends.
I drove up to her house and knocked on the door, I heard arguing inside. The door opened, then Dixie Dawn stepped out and she quickly shut the door. She looked at me and said “You ready to go?” I hesitated. Oh man, she was so pretty, she had on this black dress, with silver lining across the bottom. All I could think of was Yep, she’s the one, and she’s my girl. I couldn’t imagine myself with anyone else. I responded “Uh”… that was it. Smooth right? I hear chicks dig guys that make “uh” sounds. I quickly got my brain back and said; “Yeah, let’s go.” I smiled. I couldn’t help it. I never would have thought I would be going on a date with such a pretty girl.
