Follow the story of Treydon Austin (aka Smokey) as he chases down the cleverest, fastest, most uncatchable, most unmatchable members of The Bandit’s crime Syndicate as the government’s secret weapon against guys who are just too fast to catch. Check back every monday for the latest chapter to this fast paced action novel.
“Hello Money,” I said, “I’m Treydon and this is Dixie.” He looked at Dixie and said, “Hellooo Dixie! Yo dress is fab!”
Dixie smirked and said “In your dreams Monroe.” Monroe turned back to me, and said “I’m in charge of the money around here. That’s why they call me Money, all bets go to me, got it?”
“Yeah” I said, “got it”
“You here to race?”
I could here the chants of the other racers “He’s a pussy, he’ll never make it, imma smoke that sucka.” and other things basically with the intent to call me out. I ignored them; Dixie seemed a little flustered at their chanting though. Then our old playmate, Johnny, stepped out of the crowd. “I’ve raced this sucker before, he’s got no balls.”
Dixie jumped from behind me and said, “Your just jealous because he kicked your ass in a fair race. Face it Johnny, you’re a sore loser.”
This made Johnny angry, “That turd tub only beat me because my turbo wasn’t on right. Now it’s on, and the Dragon Rider is faster and badder than ever.”
I laughed. I mean seriously, did he just call his ricer Honda the Dragon Rider? The laughing didn’t go down well with Johnny though, he was about to deck me, I could see it. I stopped laughing. Monroe put his hands between us to try to calm us down. “Wow guys chill-lax. You got a hitch, settle it on the streets.”
Johnny relaxed a little, “Yeah.” He said, “On the streets, lets see if you got any balls at all.”
Dixie put her hand on my shoulder and yelled “He’ll take you any day of the week.” I was nervous, I wasn’t so sure about this.
Monroe put his hand out and rubbed his fingers together, “Let’s put a little skin in this game.” He said. I wasn’t sure about this whole thing; I didn’t have any money, anyway. So that’s why I said, “I have nothing to bet, sorry.” I shrugged–bullet dodged.
