Swish Tales: Crystal Queen

The Story Thus Far:

Ginger Catdragon
Ginger is late to take her final test to become a Fairy Guardian. On her way to take this test, she has to stop and help others along the way. When she starts a fire for Ather the rat, she doesn’t blow a little spitball of fire, she nearly burns up all the wood of the campfire.

Father Wrog
Ginger is a Fairy Guardian for nearly a good breath, when the alarm goes off. Someone has set fire to the Grand Sock Pile. Ginger and her mentor Cruckus go find Captain Star to use her ship the Sassyfoot to put out the fire and then they search to find the missing Father Wrog.

“Dragon fire was used to burn the sock pile,” murmuring filled the room and some looked accusingly at Ginger. It was now known that the ratdemon used her fire. Cruckus warned her that some would not understand and to expect a few problems. “The guardians of the sock pile placed many protection spells around the pile and that is why I believe Ather tricked Ginger into starting a fire for him. These protection spells were useless against dragon fire,” a ruckus arose. Some even stood and yelled out questions and other things. No one really being heard because they all spoke at the same time.

A good portion of Morakell was in attendance at the Council Hall. Ginger had never seen so many people upset at one time.

Father Wrog stood up and raised his hands. The hall quickly became quiet. Father Wrog nodded for Cruckus to continue and then he sat back down still weary from spending most of the night trapped in the null cave.

“Lost socks naturally come to our land. Long before the war it was discovered that we get our magic from these lost socks. Making a pile of them strengthens the magic we use. The spell that put all the gray wrogs to sleep was spoken by Lord Sirens while he was deep within the sock pile,” murmurs began to rise again.
