System Crash part four.

“Greg walks out the front door and to his surprise Sally drove up.”

Sally: Get in.

Greg: Hey I’m sure glad you showed up. Cabs are expensive.

Sally: That’s nothing new genius. However I know something you don’t know about what happened earlier today.  What shook the shook the art gallery was in fact an earthquake. And the building we saw crumbled to the ground was part of a demolition that was scheduled at the same time we had the earthquake.

Greg: Wow Sally! You really got the scoop didn’t you!?

Sally: Yea I just had a talk with on of the Mayer’s secretaries. That’s where I got most of the information. What did Professor Johnson have to say?

Greg: Professor Johnson didn’t say anything because he’s dead.

Sally: Sorry to hear that! Did they say how?!

Greg: Yea the front desk said he committed suicide last week!

Sally: So what next?

Greg: Now we are going to see what’s going down over at that science lab on the corner of 5th and Davis. That guy I chased down almost shot me. But I caught a brake and he told me there were some crazy things going on there.

“They drive to the lab and the guard at the front gate refused to say anything and denied them entry.”

Guard: I’m sorry Sir. But you’re going to have to leave the premises.

“So they leave the premises. It was obvious that they weren’t going to get access in the first place.”

Greg: We got to get in there somehow. I tell you what we’ll come back tonight only we’ll park a couple of blocks up the street and I’ll sneak in.

“Darkness fell and they had parked a couple of blocks up the street from the Lab. Greg got out and Sally stayed behind with the doors locked. In case Greg needed to get away fast. Greg finally made it to the Lab. Greg knowing he wasn’t just going to find an open door he brought a lock picking set. He went in from the back of the compound and spotted one of the guards slowly walking back and forth. Waiting till just the right moment he makes a run for it while the guards back is turned, finding an unguarded door. So he quickly picks the lock and makes his way in. And this part of the building was a dark area. Seeing a lit room at the other end of the hallway, Greg slowly creeps towards the room. Then peaking into one of the windows he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw…….

To be continued….”
