This is the fourth chapter in the chronicles of the Runaway Princess also known as The Adventures of the Runaway Princess, written by my sister, Gauri.

The Rescue Continues

When Sam, Lily and Lucy along with Rosie had almost reached the palace, they saw that, the palace had completely become dirty. It was surrounded by fog as Sam had said.

“Lily, how will we get past the fog?” Lucy asked.

“Don’t you remember that Philip gave us a spray that would make the fog disappear?” Lily said.

“Then where is it?”

“It must be with Sam. Do you have it now?” Lily coughed and said.

“Yes. Wait a second; let me take it out from my coat.” Sam said. He kept his hand inside his coat pocket. He first pulled out some money, then a check booklet, lunchbox and then a dusty bottle.

 The lid was white and the full body was red. It was shaped like a postbox. On the lid there was a lever. He pulled the lever and it emitted a small amount of black smoke.

“What? I shouldn’t have believed Philip!” Sam exclaimed.

“Hurry do something Sam. I cannot bear it!” Lily cried out.

“Lily!!!” Lucy and Sam screamed. Lily had just fallen down from the sky.

“Hurry. Lucy take my hand and grasp it tight. We’re going to go downwards extremely fast.”

Lucy came close to Sam and grasped his hand tight. They both went down in full speed.

When they reached the ground, they saw that Lily had fainted. Some large lizards were approaching Lily.

“Sam, do you know any magic to kill these li..zzar.. lizards?”

“A bit. Let me try to kill these lizards.” He clapped his hands two times and then there was a flash of red light and some ferocious dragons came out the ground.

“What shall we do master?” the leader asked.

“Kill all these lizards.” Sam ordered them.

“Anything for our master.” All of the dragons opened their mouths and fire spewed out from their mouths and engulfed the lizards. Soon afterwards all the lizards were dead. Sam again clapped his hands two times and the dragons vanished. Lucy came running and kept her hand on Lily’s.
