This takes DCI yet into another experience and further clues to this investigation with some terrifying yet mind blowing experience.
“How would I go about getting into the spiritual world?” Andrew asked Paul as he entered his office.
“I suppose a clairvoyant would be the best one Andrew.” Paul replied confused to where this investigation was leading, he wondered whether his senior was taking the sightings of ghosts a bit far.
A young WPC entered at that time with two cups of coffee on a tray. Hearing what was said between the two detectives, She put down the cups and said “I Know a Clairvoyant and She is very good sir.”
“You are new here aren’t you, what’s your name?” Andrew said looking her up and down.
“I am WPC Grace Williams Sir, I started today.” Grace replied aware that her Detective chief Andrew Turner, which was printed on plaque on his desk, had an eye for young lady officers. Her icy blue eyes looked at him mysteriously and her black hair tied back in a pony tail gave her stunning beauty credit and her slim tall figure showed that she was fit and able to take any criminal or man apart in a fight.
“Do you know the name and where this Clairvoyant lives Grace? Hope you don’t mind me calling you Grace, do you?” Andrew looked at her in an amorous way.
“No Sir I don’t mind. I have her card here” Grace replied and picked out her wallet and passed it to Andrew who could smell her perfume, which had a very seductive scent. It added freshness to the air of the stuffy office.
“Thank you Grace, this Jennifer Crawford, how much does she charge?” Andrew asked, picking up his coffee and taking a sip.
“Fifty pounds for three hours I think was the last time I knew, and that was nearly six months ago.” Grace replied nearly laughing as Andrew nearly spat the coffee out at the price.
“Bloody hell, what she does she do for that over three hours? She had better be good for that price.” Andrew arguably queried the price then asked her to arrange a session with the Clairvoyant that evening after his shift expecting to get a discount as a friend of Grace.
Andrew watched Grace leave the office with interest, unaware of the information Paul was telling him involving the investigations. He reminisced with a certain amount of chauvinism the early days when as a newly formed officer, his affair with a young WPC. Grace reminded him of when he was tempted to test the waters in the locker room during the night shift, only to be disturbed by a call on his phone.
