Another part in the trilogy where the mystery unfolds. Can Peter Robinson make it to heaven or will the Gate-keeper stop him and keep him in Hell.Or will there be another battle ahead for the Archer’s Ghost?
Andrew waited outside the house for Paul and further back-up to arrive. He slipped a piece of chewing gum into his mouth and thought what had happened to Jennifer Crawford, was she dead or had she done a runner?
He had spent a long time looking for her when he woke up, not a trace of her was to be found. How was he going to explain the carnage within the house? Did Grace have any clue that Jennifer was something from another world? Is Jennifer a witch?
Before he could think any more or to look for more clues, Paul arrived with four police cars behind including Sheila.
“Flaming heck, Andrew! Have you been raving it up with a Bengal Tiger or was she really that hot?” Paul asked.
Sheila coughed, knowing Andrews reputation and could bet her life that he had a hot date that night.
Grace looked at Andrew before asking “You wanted to see me Sir?” She looked disturbed as though there was something she knew about Jennifer and hadn’t expected things to go so far.
“Before I talk to you Grace, I must give Paul and the Forensics some instructions.
We have a missing person and a wrecked house here.” Andrew stated then asked Paul about the exorcist he had asked for.
“We have a Reverend Peters from St Luke’s church in Bath. He said he will not be able to get here until tomorrow morning.” Paul replied handing Andrew a bundle of clothes.
“Thanks Paul, can you go and assist Sheila while I get changed. Grace you can come with me, I have some questions I want to ask you.” He asked while turning to go back inside the adjoining room, grace sat outside while Andrew changed.
“How much do you actually know about Jennifer Crawford?” Andrew asked, and then poked his head around the door after waiting for an answer from Grace.
“Oh, she is just a friend, we met some time ago when my mother was recommended by a friend, and she called around to the house.” Grace replied, but Andrew could see some withdrawal on her face as though she was hiding something.
“You had better come here Andrew,” Paul interrupted and Andrew followed him into the sitting room.
“There appears to be some burnt clothing on the fire Andy and could have been some foul play. There are a few long strands of red hair on the lapel of the jacket.” Sheila said putting them into one of the sample bags.
