The two immortals Simon and Hazel, return from their archery shoot to her apartment to discover they have company with youths from a ship moored in Avon-mouth Gorge.
“He isn’t coming.” Simon said
“Who the F… are you?” Missus asked bemused of this tall stranger with a sword and shield.
The dogs went wild, the men felt uneasy but confident the dogs would sort this man out as they held on to their leads.
“Are you looking for your Fred? You will leave this ship now.” Simon said, standing next to Hazel in their armour.
“Are you talking to me?” The Missus said unperturbed of their armour as though she knew what they were. She gave the men the order to release the dogs.
They charged at full force towards Hazel and Simon who put up their shields and swords in defence. They used the blunt ends at first, sending the dogs flying overboard, but two Dobermans were too heavy and went back for more, giving Simon and Hazel no alternative but to finish them off.
The Missus gave the men the order to attack, but were no match for this pair of Immortals. When she found herself the only one left, the Missus called out “I know who you are and I will return,” then she jumped ship.
“What are we going to do now? We have all these children and mothers.” Jim asked
“You are free now from all the abuses, many of you can lead these children. We have to go now and you need to start a new life. Maybe you ought to find some authority to help?” Hazel said.
“Where are you going from here?” Jim asked
“A long way and as quick as we can so I am afraid we have no room for any passengers, If you are asking for a lift.” Simon said taking Hazel by the hand they disembarked from the ship with a promise to return if they can.
“Do you think they will be alright?” Hazel asked Simon as she drove out of the Car Park with the wall closing behind.
“Yes I think there are enough of them; I just hope Jim will find a priest or someone to cleanse their lost souls.” Simon replied with the sun rising on the horizon they headed for Worcester.
