With such a blow to their number, the ascended could no longer hold back the onslaught of a Shadeling army.  Frantically they scoured the galaxy in search of a place where they could take what remained of their children.  The planet best suited was one called Seralla.  This is where they brought their children.  Far beyond the reach of the Shadelings and the rip between their verses.  The history on Seralla continued as you already know it to have up to the present where, after the greed and inhumanity of the races on Seralla created a new link between the verses.  The Shadelings, content with their victory and powerless to follow the Creators, soon fell back into their old ways.  No more peace, no more unity, only power and chaos.  Until the new tear was discovered. 

Yes another rip between the verses had formed, but this one, however, was different.  The first left no lasting effects on the world of the Shadelings, however this time they weren’t so fortunate.  This rift was significantly less stable and, because of this, caused intense and rapidly manifesting problems.  The ground cracked and fire emerged.  The game animals had morphed into grotesque creatures, which were no longer edible.  The plants barely grow and the rivers are steadily drying up.  Life was leaking out of their verse. The necessity to cross to Seralla, either to destroy the link or conquer the land, became almost as strong as their desire to do so for revenge.  Some abandoned their blood quest, concerned with the state of things more imminent.  But not all. No, far from all.

Peering into the rift they found Creators once again.  They were somewhat older now and appeared a bit different, but they were unmistakably Creator.  The previous victory had quenched enough of the thirst for revenge of some that a new unity was not solidified throughout the world, but there were still many, if not most, who had not let go of the hate.  Fresh attacks on these new Creator beings (of both planes) are imminent as a new order rises from common hatred in the Ether Realm.  The Shadelings learned quickly that these Neo Creators, as they call themselves, had been watching beings on another plane.  Although they were quite unlike the typical Creator form, they had their scent nonetheless.  The Neos proved more trouble than expected.  Unable to maintain any kind of success against the Neo Creators they have turned their focus to the other plane Seralla.
