A adventure that has a long way to go. Hope all enjoy this, please leave comments and I will try to get to you as soon as I can.
The six riders stopped their mounts and started walking them. “Trill go back and trail the dwarfs just in case their story is a farce. Trill mounted his horse and rode off after the dwarfs. The five riders were quiet with many thoughts of their fallen com rads running through their heads. One of the men unhitched a spear from his saddle, the others did the same. Small stones flew from every direction. These small stones were pelting the Rangers from everywhere. It seemed like they were being swarmed by bees and the stinging was everywhere, the stones where soon replaced by arrows killing all the in black.
Nugget was sitting quietly beside Edi, waiting, he knew his father was mad. Nugget finally broke the silence, “I can not stand this dad.” Edi finally spoke “dwarfs do not jump around from wagons to horses.”Especially on top world out away from the mountains. You could of got all of us killed.” Nugget spoke “I just wanted to help.” “I thought it would help me get your respect.” Then I might finally get my true dwarven name with the rest of the Iron Forge clan.” Edi spoke “you already have my respect, if you did not I would of not let you come.” “Unfortunately son all names are gained in time of need.” They both sat in silence as the dwarven ponies pulled the wagon along.
Nugget was staring straight when something nudged his arm. “Stop, dad.” Nugget replied “I’m not in the mood” , then he realized it came from the other side. Edi was lost in thought and did not hear what Nugget had said. Nugget looked to his side to see the white horse trotting beside the wagon.
