Chapter Three: Fanta’s Return: Part three.
Okay, stop right there. If you haven’t read the other part of this story, here’s a link to chapter one.
Okay, on with the chapter.
“This is where you live?” Fanta asked, entering Julia’s penthouse apartment.
“I hope it is to your satisfacation,” Julia said as she led her furthere inside.
“It’s alright,” Fanta said as looked around the apartment. “It’s just so clean.”
“The Fanta I know liked things clean,” Julia said as if it would spark something. “You use to say it was the only way to be.”
Fanta ignored her statement. She didn’t like Julia talking about her as if she were dead. In a way she was in a walking death. Although she was told of her true identity, she could not believe it.
“Have I been here before?” she asked.
“Yes, many times,” Julia said. “Is something familiar?”
“No, I’m sorry,” Fanta said in frustration. She put her fingers to her temples as if warding off a headache. “I can’t…”
“Don’t worry,” Julia said, taking her hands. She looked into Fanta’s eyes with concern. “It will come.”
