Ever wonder if you could die everyday just by saving your love one? Angel experienced it, all right. Because of her love for John, she saves him from his first death.

“Bring your key… You might need it”

“What key should I bring? Is it my key? What room should it open?” these were the questions that ran in her head. She looked for every key that she had and inserted it all in her pocket. She then left the room and hailed a taxi. She hurriedly said to the driver her address and checked if she had all her keys with her.

When she reached home, all the doors were locked. All windows had been covered with red tape. She tried opening the front door but it wouldn’t budge. She looked for her keys, but because she was in panic, she mixed all the key. Finally, Angel got her key and opened the door.

“John! John! Where are you?!” she cried. But there was no answer. Angel opened all the doors that she could see and found none of the rooms had John. She then barged into her room. She saw who it seemed to be John. He was hanging from his neck and looked like he had died a long time ago.

While getting near John, something fell from John’s hand. A cellphone. Angel took the cellphone and looked at it. It was open and was at the last message that he texted.

“Goodnight, I feel so tired. Hope you rest too. Hope I see you again tomorrow. I love you.” then the phone rang.

-ring- -click- “Angel, do you want to know why John died? Do you want him back? Just answer yes or no.”

“Hello? Who are you? How’d you know my name? Ofcourse I want him ba—-” Then the phone beeped.

She looked around and saw that she wasn’t in her house, but instead, she was outside her school. It was just after night classes when she noticed she was there. She looked at the cellphone and saw there was a message from an unknown person.

“Want him back? Stop him from going home.”

Angel then ran to John’s apartment. She saw a John from across the street.

“John!” she yelled. Then John looked back, smiled and yelled “Hey! What are you doing here?”

While John was walking across the street, she ran towards him. When they were about to get close to each other, Angel got hit by a car, broke her arm and passed out. The moment she got hit by the car, she woke up from her sleep. She was at home lying on her bed and sweating heavily.

“Was it all a dream? But it felt so real…” she asked herself. Then she tried to get up from her bed, but she couldn’t. She looked at the calendar and saw that it was sunday. Her left arm felt heavy and hard. She saw her arm in a cast and was holding the same cellphone. It was open and a message was recieved.

“Think you got it right? 8 more.”

She hurriedly got up and left the house. She took her wallet and hailed a taxi. She told the driver to go to Johns place. She rushed to the apartment and barged through his door. She then saw another unit open. Angel saw herself in the screen. A car speeding and hits her to the ground. Then the phone was texted again.

“To save a life, you must give a life. Goodluck”

Then a third unit opened, and John was there again.
