Chapter 1

“Hey Zeke, Zeke wake up man the teacher is looking at you.” Said Kirak as he struggled to wake up his friend “Huh, what did I miss something?”I mumbled still half dazed, “Mr. Lake would you be so kind as to tell us the answer to number 43?” asked my math teacher Mrs. Bellbottom it had been a long week for me, and I wasn’t feeling my best since I’d been playing COD4 all last night. “Um, 12” I replied without even lifting my head as the class burst into laughter. “Ugh Mr. Lake, I would like to see you after class and here is a detention for you and your friend.” Mrs. Bellbottom said giving us each a detention. “Well, well, well Mr. Lake and Mr. Smith, yet again I have you in my office what an unpleasant surprise.” Grumbled the principal Mr. Gutterson, the two students just sat there motionless knowing that he was not going to go easy on us again for this being the 25th time this year that we were in his office, and it was only January. Plus school started in late august. “Man I hate this guy” mumbled Kirak while the principal had his back turned, “yea me to” I replied in the same unhappy tone that his friend had used. “And furthermore it looks like I’m going to have to call your parents again.”

      “How many times have I told you that if I got called down here during work what would happen?” Yelled my mom, I had never seen my mom this mad before in my life, and little did I know she was only going to get madder when I said “24 times I think.” I replied trying to act innocent, “24 times!?” said my mom still infuriated. “And you young man are so grounded” yelled Kirak’s dad. Kirak’s dad was normally a really chill guy but when it came to schooling he was just like a “drill sergeant who hasn’t had his morning coffee” and woo wee he was mad this time because he brought up the old’ family speech about how his family was made up honor students when he was a kid.  Kirak knew he was toast because of the principal’s next word “expelled” Kirak and Zeke both looked at each other and they both were thinking the same thing “oh s***.” And so our story begins………
