                           The

                        Dragon

                     Awakening

                           Chapter 3

I woke up the next morning to the sound of police sirens and the loud chatter of a giant crowd of people; I looked outside the window of mine, and Kirak’s room to see a very odd and intimidating sight. Our entire front property and then some was covered with people, police were trying their best to keep everyone back and I must admit they were doing an excellent job so far.

“What’s with that entire racket? I can’t get an ounce of sleep, hey Zeke turn off the radio.” Kirak complained as he tossed and turned on his bed finally putting a pillow over his ears.

“Kirak that isn’t the radio, come over here and look out the window and you’ll see what I mean.” I said stuck to the floor,

“Holy **** what the hell is going on!?” Kirak exclaimed not believing his eyes.

We quickly got dressed and went out front to investigate. Kirak’s uncle was already out there with his .357 magnum and his 20 gauge shotgun (semi-auto) his magnum was in its holster and his shotgun was being used as a cane. I was fairly certain that it was fully loaded and ready to shoot. I started to look around when I saw a familiar face.

“Hey Kirak is that who I think it is?” I asked my friend as I pointed to a black haired girl wearing black clothing with some dark makeup she didn’t have that Goth look to her she just had that different look. She was fair skinned and a nice figure but the real thing that caught my eye was that she had a bunny with floppy ears in her arms.
