We walked in right as the bell rang and we got a few comments as we passed by to take our seats at the back of the class. Mainly ones like ‘What are they?’ and ‘What a couple of freaks.’ But we just ignored them and sat down in the back of the class Aaron sat between us. And something caught my attention, it was Lin apparently she was in our class to and when she saw us she came over and sat by me.

“Good afternoon class…” he paused as he saw me and Kirak and went back to talking. “Apparently we have a couple of new students, would you two mind introducing yourselves?” asked Eddie he was very clam when he spoke to us and not the least afraid. This kind of surprised me,

“Of course, I’m Zeke and this is Kirak.” I introduced taking my seat once more. I was a little annoyed and embarrassed that I had to introduce my self like that.

“Ah yes, Mr.’s Lake, and Smith it’s nice to meet you. Now class if you would turn to page 321in your Geometry books and do problems 1-30.” Said Eddie as what he was going to say was drowned out be the sound of flapping papers and text books being pulled out of backpacks. I was one of the first few done, along with Aaron, Lin, and Kirak. Eddie soon came around to checks out our progress when he saw us all sitting back there talking quietly he smiled and looked over my work and moved on after whispering in my ear “Excellent work Mr. Lake” he said placing $20 on my desk, and moving on.

“Aaron why did he just give me money?” I asked using a very low whisper

“Oh he’s a really rich guy so if you get done quickly then he pays you for it and if you get a lot or all the problems right.

“Sweet easiest 20 bucks I ever made” I said still whispering

“Good work Zeke.” Said smiling at me

“Thanks Lin, how did you do?” I asked her with a slight smirk on my muzzle.

“I’ve done better, buy this was the easiest 15 buck I ever made.” She replied with a bright smile on her face.

“Sweet 20 bucks this class is awesome.” Whispered Kirak

After the bell rang we were done with school for the day luckily it was our last class and so me and Kirak flew off and Aaron drove my truck. I figured that we should go on a little road trip and so I asked Aaron, Lin, and Kirak what they thought of going back to Utah for the weekend. And they all said sure why not “But I’m driving I said with a big smug draconic smile.” We all set off to do whatever then me and Kirak went off to the lake to go fishing, Lin went home to go see her bunnies and check her MySpace, and Aaron went with us to go fishing we had a blast I caught a pretty big rainbow trout about 2’ 7” and about 16 or so lbs. and once it started getting dark me and Kirak flew home after telling Aaron that he could borrow my truck for the week. We got home ate supper and went to bed beat all to hell. I let out a lazy yawn set the alarm for 5:00 a.m. and fell asleep in seconds.
