“Did you hear that? Marxes is dead.” the voice said.
Roderigo nodded while grimacing and replied, “Yeah and Vivian is going with Dia.”Roderigo had just arrived at the house when Dia sent a telepathic message telling him what had happened. He ignored her as he combed the area to see if he could find any clues as to which direction they had gone. All he found was oxidized blood on the ground and against the house. There were foot prints leading to where the car had been and foot prints that led into the house. He knew they had to be E.V’s but he was sure that she would have left by now. “Jorge, I don’t think I can kill her.” he said as he peeked into the main hallway and back out to trudge disappointed back to his bike.
“Jorge huh? Well, you better otherwise I’m going to take E.V. I know she won’t hesitate to kill that wench.” the voice, now called Jorge, said.
“I need to talk to her. I know I can make her understand.” Roderigo stated. Briefly he had the feeling he was being watched and his senses heightened. He thought he could smell her, E.V, but he couldn’t see her anywhere. Thinking that it was because she been there not too long ago, he started his bike and drove off.
“Then you better feed or else I’m going to make you eat her and then kill her.” Jorge continued with a laugh. Roderigo grimaced again at the thought of Vivian turning into food and then mutating into a monster.
The sun was only a few hours away from setting and was sure he knew where Dia was taking Vivian. Please let E.V be stay out of trouble. “Ok. Where’s the nearest populated town?” he asked.
“The nearest populated town is East of where we are now. But if you’re planning on going after them, there is a town just North of here and it’s only a day way.” Jorge replied. Roderigo nodded and made his way north in pursuit of food and the troublesome women.
