He was awakened by his Chief of Staff, Arnold Moyer. “Mr. President, there are some things we need to do. Do you have any orders for us for today?”
“Just get the VP over to my office, have him take my schedule, get a second for each meeting, he hasn’t been briefed on a lot of things. He will need someone who can help him. Make sure he is guided. Let me know if there is something I need to take care of personally. If possible I want to stay with my family for a while.”
“Yes. Sir. I’ll let an aide here as a liaison. If you need something have them get me. If something really breaks I’ll get in touch.”
“Thanks.”
