After her training Sandra’s first assignment was to guard Jaci President Dave Donaldson’s fourteen year old daughter. Julia was assigned to guard the sixteen year old Judi. The president’s wife Mitzi was thirty-nine and looked to be at most thirty. She was a slim five seven and a knockout in any outfit. She wore blouses that flaunted her more than ample bosom and cleavage and there were more than enough of both to show.

In days after Dave’s nomination the scandal press had a field day with her dimensions; pictures of her were published and analyzed. There was much speculation in the scandal sheets and the regular media that she had undergone breast enlargement surgery. Kathy Harris, a reporter for the paper “You Wanted to Know” somehow obtained a hospital record of one of Mitzi’s hospital stays that was about the time the surgery was to have been done based on when the photo analysts said her breasts expanded. The stay was one day, the proper length of time. Upon getting the report Kathy called the doctor, a plastic surgeon. Everything fit and he refused to divulge the nature of the surgery, the proper course of action on his part. This only added fuel to the fire. The article even showed several pictures of Mitzi taken before the alleged surgery in which she seemed to look less endowed. One thing led to another and Mitzi finally grew tired of the speculation when several of the rags suggested Jaci and Juli may have undergone the same procedure to make them look like their mother. Both had traveled outside the country the year before for six weeks. The health risks of the procedure were cited and the questions were asked, “How far would Mitzi go to get her husband elected?” She and Dave agreed it was detracting from important issues of the campaign and detrimental to their family and the girls. Not one to run from a fight Mitzi decided to meet the situation head on. With two months to go in the campaign she had a yearly physical scheduled in two weeks. She personally called Kathy’s editor with an offer she knew he could not refuse. If they were present for her physical she would allow a female plastic surgeon and a female OB, both of Kathy’s choice to examine her. Kathy and two other female reporters of Mitzi’s choice could be present for the physical and they would be provided with a copy of the results. The kicker was that Kathy must agree to submit to a full physical examination at the same time. At the end of the examination the three reporters would be given copies of Mitzi’s reports and be free to publish them. Kathy’s reports would be given to the other members of the press only if she was wrong about Mitzi’s surgery. Kathy’s paper would have right to first publication and must agree to publish Mitzi’s story, no matter what the result. The other two reporters would agree to hold publication for a month or until Kathy’s story ran, which ever came first.
