Mitzi confronts Kathy and wins.
Mitzi asked her to put on one of the bras, then handed her a second box. “I didn’t do this to hurt you. I actually think you are a decent person who had some bad guidence. These will be a little uncomfortable for now, but try them to see how they look. There are two sets, if they’re not the right size, I’ll exchange them.”
Kathy looked at the breast-like forms. They fit over her breasts and filled the bra cups. She walked over to the mirror and looked at herself. She looked pretty good.
“They’re fine, I can’t let them in for now, my chest is really tender but I think they will be perfect as soon as I get over the surgery. Thanks.”
“Let me know how you do, keep in touch. Give me a call if I can help you. I owe you and respect you for your integrity. I might need a reporter I can talk to some day. If I do and you don’t violate my trust some day you may have the chance to get the story of your life.”
“Thanks. I’m just a scandal sheet reporter.”
Mitzi laughed. “And you are one of the few I know who will admit it. That in itself is significant.”
Kathy looked at the mirror again, “These feel pretty good. I’d have been better off with them than the surgery.”
